I've looked at this knife for a long time. I have their Pelican, which I like quite a bit. It's an excellent edc. But THIS knife is something special!It has a slightly heavy detent, but the benefit of that is that it SNAPS open with authority. It's a gorgeous design, and the blackwash is nice. It's not a grim color the way so many black knives are. It has luster without shine.The ergos on this Pretatout are outstanding. The traditional Japanese tanto blade is sharp! I've tried to find something I don't like about it, but that search has been unsuccessful. I Googled the word "pretatout" but I can't find any meaning for the non-word "Pretatout." With new knife prices shooting through the roof, I've decided that the word means Serious Bargain.
